Three new titles appeared in the Top 30 Japan game sale charts for the week of August 29 – September 4, 2022, with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R in the lead.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 オールスターバトルR) is a remastered version of the fighting game released in 2013. This version made its debut with 19,807 Switch copies, 7,032 PS4 copies and 3,721 PS5 copies sold, for a total of 30,560 copies.
Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness (メイドインアビス 闇を目指した連星) is a 3D action RPG game based on the fantasy manga by Akihito Tsukushi. It landed in fourth place with 12,542 Switch copies sold and also in ninth place with 7,720 PS4 copies sold.
The Last of Us Part 1 for the PS5 is a remake of the original The Last of Us. It made its Japanese debut in fifth place with 10,954 copies sold.
