According to a report by a research company specialized in the studies of consumers and technology, there are over 40 million mobile phone users over age 30 who are in fact annoyed by the use of their devices. The research states people under the ago of 30 get to have less problems and solve them by communicating with their friends,
Hugh Bowen, at Bowen Research, says that “cell phone manufacturers aim to distinguish themselves from their competition with increasingly complex features and unique interfaces, yet consumers over 30 have this frustrating sense of enough already.” He also points out that “that demographic wants features that are easily accessible, not lost in multiple levels of menus within menus; they want large fonts they can read; and they want a simpler button setup so they’re not so confused about what they’re doing, hitting keys by accident, etc.”
Those adults over 30 having difficulties using their cell phones add up to over 40 million people nationwide, and many of them make calls to customer service asking for help on how to use certain basic features after spending time reading the manuals that does not seem to be understood by them. Only 12% of people over 30 use the phones’ capabilities while 52% of people under 30 get to use them as well.

De acuerdo a un reporte de una compañía de investigación especializada en estudios de consumidores y tecnología, hay más de 40 millones de usuarios de teléfonos móviles mayores de 30 años quienes se encuentran molestos por el uso de sus dispositivos. La investigación declara que gente menor de 30 tiene menos problemas y lo resuelven por comunicarse con sus amigos.

Aquellos adultos mayores de 30 que tienen dificultades al usar sus móviles llegan a sumar hasta más de 40 millones de personas a nivel nacional, y varios de ellos llaman a servicio al consumidor para pedir ayuda de cómo usar las características básicas después de pasar el tiempo leyendo los manuales que parece que no los comprenden. Solamente 12% de personas mayores de 30 usan las capacidades del teléfono, mientras que 52% de gente menor de 30 los llegan a usar también.
