[EN]: Apple has sent this morning an invite to selected members of the press for a September 12 event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The presentation will start at 10 am, San Francisco time (1pm Eastern).
By the look of the number “5” in the invitation, it has to be the iPhone 5. The invite also says “It’s almost here.”
The Sept. 12 date matches the one stated in a blog post at iMore. If that source is also correct about the release date of the device, then the iPhone 5 would be on sale on September 21.
What is there to expect about the iPhone 5? A larger screen, 4G network connectivity (for faster mobile speed), and a new dock plug.
It has also been said that Apple will do another event next month with regards to a small version of its latest iPad.
