For many people in different parts of the world who have used (and still use) Microsoft’s Windows XP operating system, it may be hard to say goodbye to it. Software developers are still releasing browsers and other software for it. It is still one of the mostly-used OS’s. However, since MS pulled the plug earlier this week, the company also created a short, funny game (also playable in other browsers) to finally let XP go, in a sarcastic way.
“Escape from XP” is the 8-bit retro game which features one huge and evil Clippy, with icons of IE6 and XP utilities coming at you, the last person standing inside XP. It doesn’t matter how far you get (because really the stage is small), you’ll always have the same ending: pressing a button to destroy XP. Also, if you’ve played 8-bit games, the sounds should be recognizable.
