Iconic comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños, aka Chespirito, dies at age 85

For people who grew up in Latin America since the 1970s, an actor unlike any other brought comedy to the masses. In recent years, a video game in multiple consoles was made based on the cartoon version of the TV live-show, but for any one who has seen Roberto Gómez Bolaños throughout the years, the misadventures of Chespirito, el Chavo del 8, el Chapulín Colorado and other characters brought to life made famous by himself and many other comedians who worked alongside him in 1,278 TV episodes, the comedian has become a legend. The actor nicknamed Chespirito (as in Little Shakespeare) brought comedy that kids and adults can watch together and appreciate.
