Verizon announced today the launch of its new online customer service in Spanish giving customers a new option when contacting the mobile service provider whenever they need assistance.

With this brand-new service, generations of Latinos can select the language of their choice. Verizon recognizes the presence of Latinos in the US.

“With Hispanics representing 18% of the U.S. population, and 29% of them being Spanish preferred, Verizon is taking another step forward in enhancing the customer service experience for this consumer base with the launch of Verizon Spanish Chat – an online chat for wireless customer support service offered in Spanish,” said Jessica Thorpe, Public Relations Manager – CSR & Multicultural Communications at Verizon, via the news post.

The Spanish Chat service will offer the same services customers get on the phone, including general questions, billing information, tech support, and other issues. The new team offering services in Spanish is located in El Paso, TX, and is available from Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 11:00pm (Mountain Standard Time) and Saturday and Sundays from 9:00am to 9:00pm. (Mountain Standard Time).
