On invitations sent to the press today, Apple announces an event for Sept. 9 at 10 am PST, this year at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. With the message “Hey Siri, give us a hint,” Apple is expected to reveal a new iPhone (most probably the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus models), and possibly a new Apple TV set-top box and perhaps new features or improvements for the digital assistant Siri.
Unfortunately, even Siri can’t give us a hint yet. By asking Siri the statement on the invitations, she responds with: “You’ll have to wait until September 9. I bet you were one of those kids who snuck downstairs to open presents early, weren’t you?”
Like Siri says, we’ll have to wait.
