A live-action Fruit Ninja film is in the works

According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the most-downloaded mobile games is about to become a movie. A live-action Fruit Ninja film is in the works at the hands of Tripp Vinson and his Vinson Films production company.

Both Chad Damiani and J.P. Lavin will be in charge of writing the script for the live-action family comedy based on the game by Halfbrick Studios, while Tara Farney and Sam White join the team as executive producers.

If you haven’t played the game in a while, you may not know what you’ve been missing. Just watch this “Top 10 Fruit Ninja Trailers of all time!” released just two days ago by Halfbrick Studios.
