Sega shows why fans love the Genesis in “Our Genesis Story”

At less than three weeks before the launch of the Sega Genesis Mini, Sega releases a short video titled Our Genesis Story in which fans and former employees share their memories and tell us why they love the Genesis.

For those of you who had lots of fun during the 16-bit generation of video games, the arrival of the Genesis mini is about to bring those memories back to the living room of many gamers.

The video starts with the feelings of fans who love the games of yesteryear, followed by statements by Peter Moore (former president at Sega of America from 1999-2003), Tom Kalinkse (CEO at Sega of America from 1990 to 1996), Al Nilsen (director of marketing at Sega of America from 1989 to 1993), along with Greg Johnson (co-creator of ToeJam and Earl) whistling to the beat of the theme song.
