The Pokémon Company reveals a new anime series called Pocket Monster

Earlier today, The Pokémon Company (Japan) announced a new anime TV series called Pocket Monster (ポケットモンスター) is on its way. The name of the upcoming series has the same title as the original anime that made its debut in 1997.

According to the trailer and page info on YouTube, the new anime will feature Pokémon from all previous regions seen so far, including those from Kanto Region (カントー地方), Johto Region (ジョウト地方) and Hoenn Region (ホウエン地方).

Will it be a spin-off? Will it be what will follow after Sun & Moon? For now, fans will have to wait until September 29 when more information about the new anime will be revealed during the episode of Pokémon Sun & Moon.
