As 2020 is coming to an end, Valve announced the most-successful games of 2020 on Steam. The “Best of 2020” list, divided in six categories, mentions the best Top Sellers, New Releases, Most Played, Early Access Grads, VR Games and Controller Games.
Though Steam did not revealed specific amounts or numbers, it separated each category into multiple tiers. Four of those categories were divided into Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
In the Top Sellers category, the following games made it into the Platinum category, measured by gross revenue:

- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Destiny 2
- Doom Eternal
- DOTA 2
- Fall Guys
- Grand Theft Auto V
