HBO Max released today the official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the director’s cut (aka Snyder Cut) of the 2017 film Justice League.
The new trailer comes with new footage, including the presence of Jared Leto as Joker. He first played the role of Joker in the film Suicide Squad. In this trailer, he makes an appearance during Batman’s “Knightmare”. “Knightmare” is a vision of a possible future Bruce Wayne had in a dream.
The four-hour version comes years after fans requested a more complete version of the film. Besides the major changes in the film’s script and cuts on the film’s runtime forced by Warner Bros., Snyder left his job during post-production due to the death of his daughter. Joss Whedon made changes to the film which left many fans disappointed who petitioned for an alternate cut, now called the “Snyder Cut.”
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available via HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
