Ubisoft today announced the delay of two upcoming titles: Riders Republic and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction.
For Riders Republic, the 8-week delay will push the game’s release date from September 2 to October 28.
“To ensure we can deliver the best game for all players, we’ve made the tough decision to delay our release date from September 2 to October 28,” says the development team via Ubisoft.com. “This will give us more time to fine tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback.” It’s the second delay for this game so far.
However, the delay for Rainbow Six Extraction is much longer. A four-month setback will force the game to be launched sometime in January 2022. This title was supposed to be launched on September 16. This is already the third delay announced for this title.
“We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022,” says the post. “We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”
Both titles are coming to various platforms including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.
