Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3

Ryan Reynolds surprised fans today announcing that Deadpool will be joining the MCU on September 6, 2024, and that Hugh Jackman will play return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

Reynolds made the announcement via his Twitter and YouTube accounts earlier today. He first appears sitting down in a sofa apologizing for having missed the D23 event. He later shows a series of videos before sking Hugh Jackman if he wants to play the role of Wolverine once again. Jackman responds by saying “yeah, sure, Ryan.”

Jackman last appeared as Wolverine in the 2017 Logan film. Back then, he said Logan was going to be his last film as the popular Marvel character.
