Famitsu recently reported the Japan game console sales for the week of September 19-25, 2022.
During the week, Nintendo Switch consoles made up 67.4636% of all consoles during that week (specifically, 86,572 out of 128,324 console units). It’s another 16% drop compared to the previous week (when it sold 83.4497828% of all console units). Meanwhile, Sony got back into second place with 29,522 PS5 units sold (which is 23.00583% of all consoles sold). Microsoft returned to third place with 9.4908% (a total of 12,179 Xbox Series units sold).
