The PlayStation 5 got the lead once again in Japan game console sales for the week of April 3-9, 2023, though the Switch got the most unit sales overall.
Sony sold 39,836 PS5 consoles and 6,369 PS5 Digital Edition console units for a total of 46,205 units. Meanwhile, Nintendo sold 37,536 Switch OLED units along with 5,983 Lite units and 8,991 Switch units for a total of 52,510 units. The Xbox Series X|S still face challenges with a total of just 917 units sold for the mentioned week.
