As reported on Nikkei (via andriasang.com), the upcoming PlayStation Portable console will come with 3G support thanks to NTT DoCoMo in Japan.

The newest portable game system will have wireless LAN, a larger  OLED touch screen, a processor capable of producing hd visuals, and it will allow people to play games and download films and software via Japan’s biggest mobile network. Users won’t be able to make phone calls.

The smartphone with game capabilties, nicknamed the “PlayStation Phone,” is based on the Android OS by Google. Many people in Japan believe Sony will reveal more about the new device in an upcoming press conference on the 27th of this month.

Como informó Nikkei (a través de andriasang.com), la próxima consola PlayStation Portable llegará con 3G gracias al apoyo de NTT DoCoMo en Japón.

El último sistema de juego portátil tendrá LAN inalámbrica, una pantalla más grande táctil OLED, un procesador capaz de producir imágenes de alta definición, y  permitirá a que usuarios jueguen y descarguen películas y software a través de la red móvil más grande de Japón. Los usuarios no podrán hacer llamadas telefónicas.

El teléfono inteligente con la capacidad para juegos, apodado el “PlayStation Phone,” se basa en el sistema operativo Android de Google. Mucha gente en Japón cree que Sony revelará más información sobre el nuevo dispositivo en una conferencia de prensa el 27 de este mes.
