Some hours ago, Konami released the English-language subtitled version of the Interview: The Truth Behind Rising video.

Since it was officially announced that Platinum Games has been developing the game, many people wanted to know simply why.

In this documentary, Kojima and many others explain all the difficult situations they had while developing the game on their own, what led them to the decision about cancelling Rising half way through, and how Platinum Games got involved in the development of the game.

The game design was the main issue for Konami, but the people at Platinum Games do make quick decision and were able to come up with new ideas in an alpha version that Konami loved.

This video is worth watching, especially if you are fans of the series.

Hace unas horas, Konami estrenó la versión subtitulada en inglés del video Interview: The Truth Behind Rising (“Entrevista: La verdad detrás de Rising”).

Desde que se anunció oficialmente que Platinum Games ha estado desarrollando el juego, mucha gente quiso saber simplemente el porqué.

En este documental, Kojima y varios otros explican todas las situaciones difíciles que han tenido mientras que desarrollaban el juego por sí mismos, lo que les hizo decidir en cancelar Rising a medio camino, y como fue que Platinum Games se involucró en el desarrollo del juego.

El diseño del juego fue el problema principal para Konami, pero la gente de Platinum Games sí hace decisiones rápidas y fueron capaces de ofrecer nuevas ideas en una versión alfa que le encantó a Konami.
