[EN]: Before the end of the day here in the US, Nintendo released the latest 3DS firmware update (ver. 4.0.0-7U) to everyone worldwide. After the announcement last Friday at Nintendo Direct, many people have been waiting to see for themselves what would be new on their portable gaming device.
The newest features include:
- The creation of folders to store any games, applications and trailer to organize them in whatever way you wish, up to 60 of them in each one.
- The ability to patch games. One of the first ones will be for Mario Kart 7 in mid or late May.
- The look of the Nintendo eShop has changed. The ticker has been moved up on the top screen, and the bottom screen has been divided in two sections to let gamers make their selections faster.
