[EN]: Ayayay. I remember the TV channel since its early days when it was known as Tech TV. I used to watch Call for Help, Extended Play, and other shows. When it became G4TechTV, a few shows made the transition.
Now we are not sure if those few shows like X-Play, Attack of the Show and American Ninja Warrior would survive when and if NBC Universal turns it into a tv channel for modern males à la GQ, according to sources who shared the info with Variety. It seems like the days for G4 as we know it are now counted.
Are we still going to see TV coverage of E3, Comic-Con and other geek events if the sources are right? It would be really sad to say good bye to the G4 shows.
Supposedly, It’s a name change and a new direction for the TV channel starting in early 2013. Like the post says, “G4 is going less geek, more chic.”
If the sources are correct, are you going to miss G4? I will.
