[EN]: It seems as if Microsoft has listened to all the complaints of most gamers, including to the ones made by our soldiers overseas on its own forums. As stated in the company’s Xbox site, the big M will not include the 24-hour internet check-in that was required to keep the console working every day, and it will abandon the used-game restrictions many fans had been against to. Also, no regional restrictions, just like the PS4.

According to Don Mattrick on Xbox.com,

So, today I am announcing the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360. Here is what that means:

An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.

Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.

Another changes to take a look at:

  • Titles purchased via Xbox Live will not be shared or resold.
  • Game discs will be required on the console.
  • * No more sharing your game library with up to nine more people
  • * No more an online library of physical games wherever you go; only downloadable titles bought via Xbox Live.

Microsoft has not stated anything yet about the obligatory use of Kinect 2.0 (or a price reduction -don’t we all wish one?), but gamers and industry experts alike can agree now that Microsoft is on its way back into the competition.

Many developers kept quiet about the issue, but fans spoke out and Microsoft listened to them. Smart move, Microsoft.
