[EN]: One of the most well-known companies in the gaming industry unites with the world’s most-recognized soccer team. Earlier this morning, EA Sports announced it becomes F.C. Barcelona’s Official Video Game Partner for the next three years. Since Lionel Messi left Konami to become a brand sponsor for EA Sports in late 2011, this agreement between the Spanish soccer club and the game developer/publishing company was going to happen sooner or later.
Not only the 3D head scans of the entire team’s 17 players will be visible in the game, the team’s Camp Nou will be a featured stadium in the upcoming game. Later this year, F.C. Barcelona will host a tournament to find out who’s the best FIFA 14 game player on the team.
Jordi Moix, F.C. Barcelona’s board member responsible for the Economic and Strategic Area, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with EA SPORTS, one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment brands, and to create a stronger relationship between our global fan bases. We encourage everyone to try out the game, get a feel for being under the skin of our players and emulating their actions on the pitch; without a doubt those who try it will enjoy it.”
Both EA Sports and F.C. Barcelona will bring interactive activities to fans. Fans will get to try out some sports titles at the EA Sports Dugout inside the team’s stadium during selected home games.

Tanto EA Sports y el F.C. Barcelona traerán actividades interactivas para los aficionados. Los aficionados tendrán la oportunidad de probar algunos de los títulos deportivos en el Dugout de EA Sports adentro del estadio del equipo durante ciertos partidos hogareños seleccionados.
