[EN]: Tom Clancy, author best known for writing military science and espoinage stories whose name has been attached to many videogames, has died at the age of 66, according to his publisher and family.
Many of his novels made it to the movies, including blockbusters such as The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and others.
His success in films was also brought to gaming industry with titles such as Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon.
“Command Authority,” his latest novel, will be published on December.
Tom Clancy was 66 years old.
