Finally, there is additional content coming to Mario Kart 8 that will make players want to play this excellent title even more. Today, Nintendo of Europe announced via its web site the arrival of two AOCs (add-on content), one coming this November, and another coming later next year.
The new packs will come with courses based on the world of The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing, and new karts, including one from F-Zero.
Each pack will cost £7.00 / $8.00 and both packs for $12.00. As a bonus, people interested in purchasing both packs will also receive Yoshi and Shy Guys in eight different colors each.
With the addition of the new courses in both packs, the number of courses will go up by 50%.
According to the site, the packs will include:
Mario Kart 8 Pack 1 – Released: November 2014
- 3 Characters: Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, Link
- 4 Vehicles
- 8 Courses
Mario Kart 8 Pack 2 – Released: May 2015
- 3 Characters: Villager, Isabelle, Dry Bowser
- 4 Vehicles
- 8 Courses
This game is sure becoming Mario Kart & Friends 8.
