During a Q&A session via Periscope earlier today, Geoff Keighley hinted The Game Awards 2015 will honor Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo president who passed away in July 2015. According to Nintendo Everything, Keighley did not say much about how TGA will pay respect to Iwata.
Though the video is not playable on Periscope, a Twitter user who watched it live said “Nintendo will show new stuff.”

Also, Hours before his mention of Iwata, Keighley had also mentioned via Twitter special game discounts will be offered via Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Live.
