Nintendo got the attention of many fans today with various announcements that made players jump with excitement and not just during the first 30 minutes. From the reveal of not one but two Metroid games (Metroid Prime 4 for Switch, and Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS which is a remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus) to Super Mario Odyssey gameplay (with Mario in various outfits) to Rocket League, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Skyrim on Switch, gamers were watching. Perhaps the announcement of a core RPG Pokémon title for Switch got the crowd motivated even though there was no video or image for it. And, let’s not forget the fantastic song for Odyssey.
