
As the movie nears its release date, the Motion Picture Association (MPA) Classification and Rating Administration has given the Sonic the Hedgehog film a PG rating for Parental Guidance. As seen on the web site, the film is “rated PG for action, some violence, rude humor and brief mild language.”
While films based on games haven’t seen as much success as gamers would want, perhaps the recent success of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu and the upcoming Sonic film could lead the way for more movie-goers to enjoy films about video games.
