After the cancellation of GDC 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak, a schedule of recorded panels (aka Virtual Talks) that will be streamed via Twitch has been released for anyone to watch next week.
The stream will start from 9am to 5pm PT each day March 16-20, 2020, on the official GDC Twitch channel. Most of the scheduled is already available at https://gdconf.com/gdc-2020-virtual-talks.
In addition, both The Independent Games Festival (IGF) and Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) will be seen on Wednesday, March 18 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.
An hour prior to the awards, Double Fine & iam8bit will present a virtual version of the Day of the Devs showcase to bring “visual beauty, charming design, poignant voices, and just plain cool games.”
Every streamed session will eventually be available for free at the GDC Vault, while many others will also be available on the GDC YouTube channel “in the next few weeks and months.”
