SNK announced the return of Ángel (アンヘル) to The King of Fighters XV.
Once the game makes its debut on February 17, 2022, Ángel will be included in the set of 39 characters as the 35th fighter.
The Latina character is no stranger to KOF. She has made appearances on KOF 2001, KOF 2002, KOF Neowave, KOF 200 Unlimited Match, KOF XIV as well as in six mobile games.
In KOF XIV, Ángel was a member of Team Mexico with Ramón and King of Dinosaurs. Both Ramón and King of Dinosaurs are members of Team G.A.W. in KOF XV.
In KOF 2001, she was a member of NESTS Team before the breakup of the organization.
Fans of SNK who have seen her in previous games may remember her superhuman abilities (such as strength and speed). Her fighting style is called Perfunctory
, a mix of both Muay Thau and professional wrestling.
Miki Ogura will once again work as the voice of Ángel.
Ángel is originally from Mexico and loves playing soccer as a goalkeeper. She doesn’t like gambling.
