Game site 1UP reports Sony will release a new version of its PSP portable gaming device later this year. According to sources who contacted the gaming site, previous speculations will become real. The PSP Go! will not support actual UMD discs, and its games (including the classic PSP ones) will be downloadable. Though an official announcement has not been made yet, the report states the new PSP will come with either a 8GB or 16GB internal flash drive, but a second analog stick will be absent. There are no more details about the PSP Go! capabilities, but people who gets to attend E3 2009 will have the chance to take a look at the new portable system.
