Up to this day, I still have games from the Atari and NES generation. I still would like to get the original copies of some great games I didn’t get to own then. Yeah, yeah, I can download them from the Wii Shop Channel, but holding a cartridge brings a special feel that perhaps can’t be compared. You can actually hold it, read the instruction manual, and play it on your old console to show how much you love gaming. A gamer becomes a game collectors. All of us gamers do. But for real collectors, the ones who would rather keep their titles instead of exchanging them for a small amount of money at GameStop and/or the ones who search for those special titles (such as the Tengen NES version of Tetris).  For eBay user lace_thong35, waiting for the right time to put her console and games for auction was woth it. An unexpected “reward” for one sought-after game, the NES title Stadium Events, was no exception. After the mentioned game along with a NES console and other games were on sale, only the true seekers of game collection knew what they were dealing with. It was just something lace_thong35 didn’t know the importance of, at least not until she got to see the first bid of $6000.  At the end of the auction, the  price was over $13,000. Why at such a price? It has been said less than 10 copies of this game currently exist. Perhaps you should think twice if you decide on auctioning your games on eBay.

¿Porqué a tal precio?
