Though the Nintendo 3DS does not have a second circle pad, it seems like the company will make it happen soon.
According to blog posts on Andriasang and 1UP with a picture on Kotaku and ZeldaInformer (via GoNintendo), the new circle pad will be identical (though a bit smaller in size) to the one in the portable, and will be next to the right of the four control buttons (A/B/X/Y). The new add-on will also come with an additional button, R2 (there will be no L2 button).
These new features will be placed into what it looks like a cradle, and because of its shape, it will cover up the wireless switch, wireless LED light, SD memory card slot.
There is still no release date nor price but Nintendo may publish a press release once Famitsu releases its newest issue later today (in Japan).
Also, a version of Monster Hunter 3G for the 3DS was announced, and will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show next week.

Aunque el Nintendo 3DS no tiene una segunda almohadilla circular, parece que la compañía hará que ocurra pronto.
Según las entradas de blog en Andriasang y 1UP con una imagen en Kotaku y ZeldaInformer (via GoNintendo), la nueva almohadilla circular será idéntica (aunque un poco más pequeña en tamaño) a la de la portátil y estará a la derecha de los cuatro botones de control (A/B/X/Y). El nuevo complemento también vendrá con un botón adicional, el R2 (no habrá ningún botón L2).
Estas nuevas características se colocarán en lo que parece una cuna, y debido a su forma, cubrirá el interruptor de conexión inalámbrica y su indicador LED, y su ranura para tarjetas de memoria SD.
Todavía no hay fecha de lanzamiento ni precio, pero Nintendo podría publicar un comunicado de prensa apenas que Famitsu publique su reciente número el día de hoy (en Japón).
Además, se anunció una versión de Monster Hunter versión 3G para el 3DS, y se podrá jugar en el Tokyo Game Show la próxima semana.
