Blackpowder Games: “Betrayer” [Steam] – Announcement Trailer

[EN]: A new indie game developer based in Seattle called Blackpowder Games announced its first game earlier today. Titled Betrayer, it is a first-person action/adventure game that will make its debut via Steam (PC) later this month. Betrayer takes you back to 1604, back during the Colonial times in the United States. As you arrive from England to help your colony on the coast of Virginia, you only get to find ghosts and mysteries “in a land drained of color and life.” You’re going to need arsenal to survive, to solve the colony’s mysteries and identify a woman who helps you in your adventure.

Craig Hubbard, Creative Director at Blackpowder Games, said: “We wanted to get back to crafting games more intuitively. There’s a sense of discovery and excitement when you navigate by instinct rather than market research and open yourself up to opportunities that arise during development.”

The developers of the original F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever titles will launch the game via Steam  Early Access on August 14.

Titulado Betrayer (Traidor) , es un juego acción/aventura en primera persona que  hará su estreno por medio de Steam (PC) a mediados de este mes. Betrayer les lleva de nuevo al año 1604 , de nuevo en los tiempos coloniales en los Estados Unidos. A medida que llegas desde Inglaterra para ayudar a tu colonia en la costa de Virginia, sólo llegas a encontrar fantasmas y misterios “en una tierra vacía de color y vida”. Vas a necesitar arsenal para sobrevivir, resolver los misterios de la colonia, e identificar a una mujer que te ayuda en tu aventura.

Craig Hubbard , Director Creativo de Blackpowder Games, dijo : “Queríamos volver a la elaboración de juegos de forma más intuitiva. Hay un sentido de descubrimiento y emoción cuando se desplaza por el instinto en lugar de estudios de mercado y te abre a las oportunidades que surjan en el desarrollo”.

Los desarrolladores de los títulos F.E.A.R. y No One Lives Forever lanzarán el juego a través de Acceso Temprano de Steam el 14 de agosto.
