Square Enix today released a preview of the many special features that will be seen in the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In the list of features, players will see: high-definition visuals, Remote Play via the PS Vita, touchpad support for the DualShock 4 controller, mouse/keyboard capabitilies, and player content sharing.
Along with the special features trailer, SE released a very interesting video called PS4 Conversations with Creators. In the video, the game producer Naoki Yoshida talks about his positive experience about the development of the game for the PS4 and the benefits of the console’s capabilities.
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn will be coming to the PS4 on April 14, the Standard edition for $39.99 and the Collector’s Edition at $79.99 (exclusively via the Square Enix Online Store). The digital version of the Collector’s Edition will cost $59.99. If you are interested in the game, PS4 owners will be able to play a Beta version of the game for free. Once released, the game will include free 30-day trial for people with new accounts.
