The designer at .Gears made good on his promise by releasing a new version of the Flappy Bird game, for now available via Amazon’s Fire TV video streaming and gaming device.
But why on Amazon’s device? The release of the original game became a hit when it made its debut on iOS and Android devices, but later removed by the game’s creator, Dong Nguyen, due to its attractive yet difficult gameplay.
The newest title, Flappy Bird Family, can be played with Fire TV’s remote or gaming controller, and it features a person-to-person mode and additional obstacles.
