Square Enix introduces the backstory for Final Fantasy XV

In a new trailer released at Gamescom, Square Enix introduces the backstory for Final Fantasy XV with a series of dramatic events 15 years before the adventure begins. The video also introduces us into the strong bond between young Noctis and his father King Regis (in charge of the Kingdom of Lucis), who is facing hard times with enemy nation Niflheim.

FFXV is the story of Crown Prince Noctis and his fellow comrades who defend the Kingdom of Lucis against a surprise assault by the armed forces of Niflheim.
