During the Yacht Club Games Presents event seen today on G4, the developer introduced its newest franchise: Mina the Hollower.
The game brings back memories of titles such as Link’s Awakening and Castlevania. It’s a top-down action-adventure title with graphics seen in Game Boy Color games.
“You play as Mina, a whip-wielding Hollower and visionary inventor. She receives a troubling letter from Baron Lionel, her longtime patron and the overseer of Tenebrous Isle. Mina’s advances in Spark Technology brought power to the Isle for the first time many years ago, ushering in newfound prosperity for its citizens. But now, the Spark Generators have gone out, and foul play is suspected,” says the game’s Kickstarter page.
At the time of this writing, the game has reached close to 90% of its financial goal just a few hours after its announcement.
