Japan Game Sale Charts: Week of May 30 – June 5, 2022

The visual novel based on the film of the same name, The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie: Five Memories of My Time with You, became the only new title on the Top 30 list of the Japan game sale charts for the week of May 30 – June 5, 2022.

Debuting at #2 and #5, it actually sold more titles than Nintendo Switch Sports, with 21,440 Switch copies and 9,029 PS4 copies, for a combined total of 30,469 copies sold.

The manga series was a success in Japan in recent years. It became the 5th best-selling manga in 2019 (archive). It was also the 3rd best-selling manga in the first half of 2020 (archive), right after Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and One Piece.
