Xenoblade Chronicles III became the top title for the week in Japan game sale charts for the week of July 25-31, 2022. Eight more new games also made it into the Top 30.
The third game in the series of the action RPG title developed by Monolith Soft reached success with 112,728 Switch copies sold. The game reached the same success with first place (archive) in physical sales of games in the UK.
Digimon Survive reached second place with the Switch version for a total of 28,536 copies sold. Its PS4 version landed in 12th place with 7,757 copies sold.
In 9th place, Tengoku Struggle: Strayside (an otome visual novel) became the third brand-new title in the charts with 10,912 Switch copies sold.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, a side-scrolling action platform game develop and published by Inti Creates, landed in 11th place with 9,493 Switch copies sold.
Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is a 2D side-scrolling action game with a feel that should be familiar to Castlevania fans in terms of quality gameplay. It arrived at the charts in 13th place with 7,604 Switch copies sold.
The other four games that made it into the Top 30 are: Anonymous;Code, GrimGrimoire OnceMore, Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo, and The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki.
