Two new games and one game add-on pack were launched to try to take on Splatoon 3 which continues to dominate the Japan game sales charts this time with less than 100K copies sold for the week of October 10–16, 2022.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers Special Edition, an online asymmetrical action game published by Bandai Namco, made its debut in 7th place with 5,312 Switch copies sold and in 20th place with 2,046 PS4 copies sold. With the low amount of copies sold compared to the ones from the Nintendo title, the Japanese release may be a disappointment for Bandai Namco. Currently, the Standard Edition is available for $19.99 and the Special Edition for $29.99.
Fortnite: Graphic Legends Pack, a set of 10 items that comes with costumes that can be used in the game, landed in 18th place with 2,349 Switch copies sold.
RPG Time! The Legend of Wright, an indie game about a young boy wishing to become a game developer, reached the charts in 24th place with 1,812 Switch copies sold.
