Unicorn Overlord has once again topped the charts, maintaining its position as the best-selling game for the second consecutive week with a total of 26,771 copies during the week of March 11-17, 2024, in Japan. On the other hand, the newly released Macross Shooting Insight made a notable entry into the market, achieving a commendable sales figure of 12,634 copies in total.
In Macross Shooting Insight, players embark on a mission to rescue missing singers. While the game features music from the Macross franchise, content related to singer Lynn Minmay will only be available as a DLC for the Japanese version of the game, and not for the international version, most likely due to an agreement between Harmony Gold USA and Big West Co. Ltd. about content distribution. Fans can see the presence of Lynn Minmay on the Japanese version of the game’s web site [「マクロス -Shooting Insight-」公式WEBサイト (bushiroadgames.com)], but not in the English version [「MACROSS -Shooting Insight-」Official site (bushiroadgames.com)].
