All three console makers experienced smaller amounts of units overall in the Japan game console sales during the week of July 11-17, 2022.
Overall, Nintendo sold 61,677 Switch units and 130 New 2DS LL units to continue in first place, which is 4,566 less Switch consoles than in the previously reported week of July 4-10, 2022. Meanwhile, Sony remained in second place with jus 12,545 PS5 units, which is 816 units less than in the previous week. Microsoft also experienced a smaller amount with just 3,577 Xbox Series consoles sold, which is 1,367 units less.
