The PlayStation 5 maintains its lead in Japan game console sales for the week of January 23-29, 2023. Sony has become the leader in console sales in recent weeks.
Overall, the PlayStation 5 family of consoles sold 93,026 units (56.57517834% of all console units sold) versus 55,736 Nintendo Switch units combined (33.89669705465% of all units sold) for the mentioned week. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X|S sold 14,644 units (8.905971574% of all units sold), which is much higher than the 1,265 units during the previous week of January 23-29, 2023.
